Reply with quote | #1 | I'm using Kdiet 12.6. Is it possible in this or later versions to include one recipe as ingredient in another recipe? I tried searching the forums for an answer, but the da**ed search function keeps tossing out important words that it considers common. |

Reply with quote | #2 | Hi, Not sure when exactly I put that in, but yes. In KDiet 14.6, you can add a recipe as an ingredient. To see that feature, you right click on the ingredients grid in the Recipe Chest and then select the menu choice called "Add a Recipe as an Ingredient".
If you purchased KDiet 12.6, you are entitled to free upgrades. I would download and install KDiet 14.6 and then send me your request certificate from it. Not sure how long upgrades will be free so I'd do it soon..

Reply with quote | #3 | Hi Paul,
Lucky for me, this feature exists in v12.6, too; thanks for telling me how to find it. I will, however, take you up on your free upgrade offer.
My copy was a gift from you for offering some feedback on v10.0 that you considered a fair trade for a license. Will v14.6 read the custom foods and recipes in the v12.6 database, or should I export those out before installing the latest version?
Cheers, Ari

Reply with quote | #5 | Hi Paul,
I got the private message you sent me, but I have not yet attempted to act on it. Frankly, I'm daunted, and I'll have to re-read it a few times to make sure I understand it.
Cheers, Ari

Reply with quote | #6 | Hi Ari, Actually, the upgrade instructions that I sent are for all versions. Just do the part for your particular upgrade.. Paul __________________ Paul Lagasse'
